Passiontide

Today, the Fifth Sunday of Lent, is traditionally known as Passion Sunday. We are in the final days of Lent and our focus now turns to the Lord’s Passion. During Passiontide, the crucifix and images of the saints are veiled. The veils are drawn, not to conceal Christ, but to ready our hearts for the mystery of His suffering and glory.
