Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II died on Thursday 8th September.

Masses on Friday 9th September will be offered for the repose of the soul of Her Late Majesty. The Domine salvum fac and the National Anthem will be sung at the end of the 12.10pm Mass for the new King.

The bells of the Oratory Church will ring, muffled, between 12 noon and 1pm on Friday.

A book of condolences has been opened in the porch of our church, where there is also a display of photographs of her late Majesty visiting Popes from Pius XII to Francis.

The 12 noon Mass on Sunday 11th September will be a sung Requiem for Queen Elizabeth.

The National Anthem will be sung after the 10.30am and 12 noon Masses.

We give thanks for the Queen's steadfast Christian witness, and for her service to our nation and Commonwealth.

May she rest in peace.

We pray also for all the Royal Family, especially for our new King Charles III and for Queen Camilla.

God Save the King.
