Mass on All Souls' Day

November is the month when we try especially to pray for the souls in Purgatory - something we should do all year round. On All Souls' Day every priest is permitted to offer three Masses for the Holy Souls.

November list envelopes enable you to write down the names of your own departed loved ones, to be included in the Requiem Masses, which the offerings in the envelopes enable.

From 1st-8th November a plenary indulgence, applicable to the Faithful Departed, may be gained by making a devout visit to a cemetery, praying for the Holy Souls and for the Holy Father's intentions.

On Friday 4th November at 6pm there will be a sung Requiem in our church for the deceased Fathers and Brothers of the Oratory.

Sunday 13th November is Remembrance Sunday, and there will be a sung Requiem at 12 noon for all those who have fallen in war.

We, the Church Militant, can help the Church Suffering through our prayers, and above all in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass.
