As part of the Holy Year, the Bishop of Middlesbrough and the Archbishop or York were pilgrims of hope.
The Right Reverend Terence Patrick Drainey and the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Stephen Cottrell prayed together in the Shrine of St Margaret Clitherow on the Shambles. Then they walked together to York Minster. In the Minster there was a service at which we renewed our common Baptismal Vows.
Archbishop Stephen and Bishop Terry then went to pray at the tomb of St William, patron of the City of York.
