Fr Richard, Fr Daniel, and Br Alexander were all at the Oxford Oratory yesterday to celebrate 150 years since the opening of St Aloysius’ Church. There were eight past, present, and future Presidents of the Newman Society present - originally founded as the Catholic Club in 1878 (see Gerard Manley Hopkins in the picture below) and then renamed, with the Cardinal’s permission in 1880.
